MSDN Events is now providing an RSS Feed for our upcoming events. Tune your RSS
reader to our feed and you'll be notified when there's new content available
from MSDN Events. Through this feed, you can be notified when new content, dates and locations
have been added for MSDN Events.
Custom RSS Feeds
To customize your RSS Feed by state, select the state(s) from the dropdown below (CTRL-click to select multiple states)
and then hit the RSS Feed button. With this new feature you will only receive
updates that are specific to the state(s) that you have chosen.
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) provides a convenient way to syndicate
information from a variety of sources, including news stories, updates to a web
site or even source code check-ins for a development project. Regardless of the
purpose for which the RSS file is being used, by watching this XML file, you
can quickly and easily see whenever an update has occurred. Of course, viewing
the RSS feed in Internet Explorer and hitting F5 every few minutes is not the
most efficient use of your time, so most people take advantage of some form of
client software to read and monitor RSS feeds.
There are many different RSS clients available, but here are a selected few
that you may find useful:
- SharpReader
- FeedReader
- AmphetaDesk
- NewsGator
- RSS Bandit (which you can build yourself based on this article in the MSDN Library)
